Ohio Sportsmen to “Rally” For Their Hunting Heritage(Columbus, Ohio) – A 20 acre sportsmen’s paradise as well as dozens of guns, bows, hunting and fishing trips will be up for grabs at the 13th Annual “Save Our Heritage” Rally, set for Saturday, September 26, 2009, at the Aladdin Shrine Temple in Columbus, Ohio. The rally is a program of the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation (USSAF) and is sponsored by Gander Mountain. The event is a chance for sportsmen from across Ohio to gather and celebrate the victories of sportsmen and women everywhere and to raise the funds necessary to ensure the future of our hunting, fishing and trapping heritage. Additionally, everyone in attendance that night will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for 20 acres of their very own hunting paradise. We’re also pleased to announce that this year’s special guests will include George Thornton, CEO of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
In addition to the many raffles and games, our live auction looks to be better than ever with an African safari, Maine Bear hunt, a Colorado Elk hunt, Alaskan fishing trip, multiple Canadian fishing trips and many other great items. As always, we will have many great silent auction items up for bid...

The Grand Prize land give-a-way is made possible through the generous contribution of B & N Coal Co., Dexter City, Ohio. This family owned, conservation minded company has donated hundreds of acres of land to the USSA which has generated millions of dollars to help protect and preserve our outdoor heritage. B & N Coal has also opened over 9,000 acres of land to public hunting, such as the Ales Run Wildlife Area in Noble County.
