8/26/08

This past Saturday, the USSAF held its second annual Trailblazer Charity Shoot in order help ensure opportunities for families nationwide to enjoy outdoor sports by raising funds to keep the Trailblazer program expand.  Already, Trailblazer is the largest outdoor program of its kind with over 575,000 people going through since it started in 2001.

The event was held at Hidden Haven Shooting Preserve and Sporting Clays in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Over 60 shooters took part in a 100-bird shoot with their ammo and lunch provided.  A raffle was also held where some lucky participants walked away with items like guns, fishing poles, and optics. All proceeds went to the Trailblazer Adventure Program which was specifically designed to expose families to hunting, fishing, shooting and other aspects of the outdoor lifestyle.

A special thanks to the sponsors who made the event possible, including: Remington, NSSF, White Flyer, Stanley Steemer, MKS Supply, Vance’s Shooting Supply, Graphic Printery, Schneider Downs, DelMonte, Cup O’ Joes, Jess Howard Electric, Settle Muter.
